Bear Lake, July 2008

On July 11 we headed to Bear Lake. We went with The Hardings, and Kelly & Kristy's family. We all stayed in a rental house that was close to Garden City.

Playing in the sand! Alyse LOVED the sand, she played, dug, (even ate) sand for a long time.

Kierra in the sand! It is for all ages!

Dalton's friend Nick came with us, he and Dalton have "twinner" motorcycles, and they had alot of fun riding them next to the house we rented, and in the sand on the beach.

Nick and Dalton on the beach.

Kim coming in from the boat.

Nobody really likes my hat except me! I think it is great! It is so big Alyse even gets the benefit of the shade!

Alyse fell asleep in sitting up with her life jacket on.

That is Killian in there, he is hard to see with that big life jacket on!

4th of July 2008

On the 4th of July we always head up to Grandma & Grandpa Ray's for BBQing, water fighting, and fireworks!

Alyse was decked out in her patriotic gear, right down to her Red toenails!

Great Grandpa Ray and Alyse

Kelly & Killian, they sure look alike.

Alyse was in love with her cousin Austin's scooter, she would ride around all day with someone doing the balancing for her. Austin was really nice to share it with her!

WATER TIME!! Aunt Josee filled water balloons for about a 1/2 hour, and the kids demolished them in about 5 minutes, maybe less. Kierra and Cati had water guns, and were soaking everyone!

Braxton and Dalton were waiting in line to get some balloons!

Alyse found grandma's flowerbeds, and had a real good time in the dirt (one of her favorite things.)

Since the tub was full of delicious homeade ice cream, Kim and Grandma Ray gave Alyse a wash down in the kitchen sink.

Joscelyn lit a LARGE firework for Braxton to hold, but he decided it wasn't for him, and ran off, so she was left holding the fire!

Dalton's favorite part is lighting everything. Here he is lighting cousin Austin's sparkler.

Alyse and me!

We rushed home to watch the great firework show at Thanksgiving Point, we can watch it from our yard, but the Kierra & Dalton wanted a better view, so they watched from the top of the trailer.

Kim & I sat on the sidewalk and watched the kids light fireworks.

Kierra, a ball of joy by this hour!

Dalton, doing his favorite thing, lighting the fireworks!

Faulk Family Reunion June 2008.....more to come

Father's Day 2008

Alyse's second Father's Day, and she is really attached to her Daaa deee.

Grandpa Faulk (my dad) with Kierra & Alyse.

Grandpa Craig (Day), Kim, and Great Grandpa Doug (Day)

More swinging with Grandpa, Alyse, & Killian. She seems to like Killian's hat.

Air Force Museum

Hill Air Force Base Museum

Dalton & Drake, they sure seem small in front of that big plane!

Bri (on the ground) Alyse, Kierra, Kelton, Dalton, & Drake

I took a picture of Kelton & Dalton in front of this same tire when they were 3 & 5 yrs old, it was before digital days, so I will have to scan it in and show the difference 6 years has made.

In the kids play room they had flight simulators, this was the little kiddie one. Alyse loved it, there were so many buttons!

This was the F-16 flight simulator. Dalton had a blast trying to keep it in the air!

SHOES SHOES SHOES!!!!

Having one shoe lover can happen to any household, but TWO?? Alyse seems to be following in Kierra's footprints, literally! She is so fascinated with her shoes! She is starting a bit younger than Kierra started! Trouble!

This cute pink pair of shoes has a great story with them. We were shopping in Children's place and Alyse (with her walking independence) wanted to walk around, so I put her down, and she headed straight to a shoe rack! About 30 seconds later, she walked back carrying this pair of shoes, and lifting her foot up so I could put them on her! The most ironic part was they were actually her size! Needed or not, she got them! This could get really expensive!

She looks at them with such admiration!
